David

He will either work individually with your horse or he will work with you while you are horseback.
David will work with your un-started colt, green horse, or older horse. David is great at explaining and showing you what he is doing as he works with the horse. He works with issues as they come up, not necessarily just what was the initial problem. Many times other "symptoms" will show up before the whole topic of concern is resolved; he targets them as they show up. Clients have been thrilled at the responsiveness of their horse and the effectiveness of David's work.
He specializes in trailer loading, colt starting, and hard-to-shoe horses. He will work individually with your horse or get you on the horse and work with you both together. This usually begins with a short consultation where you talk to David about what you are looking for or expecting to improve in your horse.
This service is for two participants who have a similar desire for their horses. David will work on groundwork and horsemanship with both of them.
This could include a variety of things. One client asked for help with how their weight affected the horse. David first worked on moving the hind quarters and front quarters separately. This led into teaching the clients to help the horse do what we have asked them to do by removing our weight from the part of the horse that we would like them to move. This makes things easier for the horse and better movement.
A clinic would be tailored to what you as a group want to work on. Options include Horsemanship, Ground Work, Cow Working or Ranch Roping. A viewing fee may be added to additional spectators. This is a great thing for 4-H kids who would like to team up together and work on their horsemanship or even a group of friends that would like to be safer on the trails. Whatever the case may be, you are sure to benefit from a clinic with David George.
David would work with your horse at our facility and would ride the horse daily. This is great for a green horse that just needs ridden or a colt that needs to be started. This is an economical choice for those who need a lot of riding on their horse. The price will be $700 and this includes the cost of board.
The 30 days puts a solid base on the horse and the 60 days is a great addition to working towards a good horse. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
A travel charge may be added to the total cost of the lesson.
